I wrote this many, many years ago. We were told to keep our "notes" in our email system. When our email system changed, our notes disappeared. So I wrote this.
The index cards are in plain text and provide two methods of search. You can match any word or match an exact phrase. It is not case sensitive. Navigation is done using icons or the keyboard. I still use this today!
