Dividend centric stock investment tracker.
None of the apps I used ever offered a way to track analysts recommendations and my investment history over the long term.  I wrote this to find out if I really did make (or loose) as much as the analysts said.

Using this app I was able to detmine when and what to buy upon a recommendation out of my followed stocks.

What this ended up showing me is that some analysts are just full of smoke while some are better matched to my investing style.

StockApp shows and tracks general unrealized captial gains or losses for open positions as well as dividends received per postion and position summary.

StockApp also keeps a history of closed trades just in case you decide you want to buy into one again.  You can quickly see the history in your list, giving an answer to the question, did this work out for me last time?

Sortable columns allow you to quickly see which stocks pay more, which have more potential, and which ones are just paying 'too much' based on your personal preferences.

How about a monthly dividend or maybe a quarterly dividend paying stock?  You can just type in the work 'monthly' and all monthly payting dividend stocks for the ones you have keyed in will be listed.  If stocks are not paying a dividend, (or in the case where a stock's dividend isn't showing yet), StockApp will show 'No Dividends!' in read in key fields.

What to compare a few stocks, type in multiple tickers with a space between each one.  They will be filtered down to what you have typed in.

What to see all your followed stocks?  Click clear and then check the 'Show all' stocks checkbox.  The default is to show only your open positions.

I used to buy stocks just on a recommendation.

Now I consult my list to see if I really want to get into another recommended stock.

This has been a lifesaver for me and I believe it is worth every penny and is one of the reasons I started this website.  That and the fact I have more programs I want to write.

It helped me calmed my nerves when I felt a stock was loosing big and allowed me to think clearly when re-evaluating current postions.

Before StockApp,  I would sell at a loss.
Now using this along with other tools, I've actually bought more when stocks go 'on sale' or down significantly more than I purchased it at.

Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions or notice anything weird or anything that doesn't seem to be working as intended.
